State testing. The part of the year that everyone in the school looks forward to. We all go into whatever room we are assigned to, and stay there for around 90 to 105 minutes, and take a test for two days in a row. Seventh grade student only had to take the tests for language arts and math (unless they are in advanced science), while eighth graders and any seventh grader in advanced science also have to take the science test. So far all of the seventh graders are done with testing (again, except for people in seventh grade advanced science), while the eighth graders and those of us in advanced science still have their science tests on Thursday, April 27, and Friday, April 28. Yay! Everyone should get their results sometime over the summer, so only a few months of dread! Good luck to all of you who have already finished testing, and good luck to those of you who still have their science test, or have makeup testing!
