This just in! Local Northmont Middle and High Schoolers are volunteering to work over the Summer in Stillwater Church’s Summer Reading Program. In this program, volunteers read books to children, teach them valuable life lessons to go alongside them, and with free snacks! This year’s theme is Doctor Suess, which might not seem like it has much impact on life, similar to people, a moral’s a moral, no matter how small. But, these volunteers also have to do some real challenges in order to allow the full amazing effect of Suess to take place. Whether making Cat in the Hat marshmallow snacks, elephant ear crackers, or green eggs and candy, these kids have their work cut out for them!
