On the first day of school this year, only seventh graders attended.  Where were the eighth graders? This was actually the job shadowing day for eighth graders but some volunteered to help the seventh graders become acquainted with the middle school on a day known as Orientation Day! On this day, the WEB Leaders played games and bonded with the seventh graders, letting them feel a lot more comfortable. The WEB director, Mrs. Spears, said “I think it was the best one (Orientation Day) ever”. But that’s not all, these leaders also volunteered to learn how to teach the seventh graders by spending two of their days of summer vacation at the KELC to learn the games and bond with their fellow WEB leaders. The next WEB day will be on September 22nd, and hopefully, it will go as well as this previous one!
