Throughout our childhood, we have been warned of the dangers of taking candy from strangers and running through the streets late at night. So why not have a holiday devoted to breaking the rules set by your parents. Once a year you get to go out into the street wearing a crazy outfit portraying anyone but yourself taking candy from mostly complete strangers. One might start to wonder, is this a safe activity for our children? Well I say, let us take the risk of getting razors in our candy rather than take away the one night where we experience a slight taste of freedom through a chocolate bar. Case closed.
