Nerd Herd is just about the only place in the middle school where you can play tabletop games for more than about 20 minutes, sometimes there might even be really interesting role-playing games using the d20 system (runs off the 20 sided die). Hosted by Mr. Davis in room 233, the community overall is fairly accepting and nice to newcomers, we could definitely benefit from more Yu-Gi-Oh players though (please). Hanging out with Larry and Reptar, Mr. Davis’s class pet bearded dragons, is also pretty entertaining as sometimes you’re allowed to take them out of their cages and/or feed them. Sure, you won’t have enough time to play a full-fledged D&D campaign, and you definitely won’t have the tablespace for a wargame, but it’s good fun overall!
