The 7th and 8th-grade volleyball teams played Tipp City last Wednesday. Our 7th-grade team won set one 26-24 as well as set two 25-19. Our 8th-grade team lost set one 13-25 as well as set two 22-25. Two players who stood out to teammates and spectators were Sam McGilton (8th grade) who “had a really good run of serves including a couple of aces” and Tamia Washington (7th grade) who maintained a positive attitude throughout the game and put her best effort forward, even when they were down.
