Scott’s Top 10 Pandemic Movie Picks

Scotts Top 10 Pandemic Movie Picks

These are my top ten movies I have watched during the pandemic. I chose these movies because they were my overall favorite and the most entertaining, and I hope you will like them as well.

My tenth favorite movie of the pandemic pick is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 2. As his showdown with Lord Voldemort near’s, Harry may have to make the ultimate sacrifice.

My ninth favorite movie is Star Wars: a New Hope. Robots and other allies help a youth and a space jockey rescue a rebel princess, and battle dark forces bent on intergalactic rule.

My eighth favorite movie is Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Goku and Vegeta encounter Broly, a Saiyan Warrior.

My seventh favorite movie is Dragonball: Evolution. A young warrior must protect earth from the vengeful Lord Piccolo by preventing seven mystical orbs from falling into Piccolo’s hands.

My sixth favorite movie is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Mrs. Kemper choose this). Signs of Voldemort’s return emerge as Harry’s friends help him prepare for a tournament with Europe’s best student wizards.

The fifth is Phineas and Ferb: Candace against the Universe (Noah Reinke chose that). After Candace is abducted by aliens, brothers Phineas and Ferb embark on a quest to save her.

My fourth is Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Thirty years after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, Han Solo and his young allies face a new threat from the evil Kylo Ren and the First Order.

You have now made it to the top three!

My Third Favorite movie is Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he encounters Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force. Her desire to learn the ways of the Jedi forces Luke to make a decision that changes their lives forever. “‘Permission to jump in a starship and blow something up?’ Asked Poe. ‘Permission Granted’ said General Leia.”

My second favorite movie is Interstellar. As Mankind’s time on Earth comes to an end, a group of explorers begins the most important mission in human history: traveling beyond the galaxy to discover if there is a future for man among the stars. “‘You were down there on that planet for 23 years’ said George. ‘No, we were only there for one hour.’ whispered Dr. Bridge. ‘Where’s Doyle?’ asked George. ‘We lost him.’”

My Top Favorite movie is (drum roll!) Ready Player One. In 2045, the creator of a virtual reality universe promises his fortune to discover a digital Easter egg. Soon, young Wade Watts finds himself in a reality-bending treasure hunt through the mysterious and fantastical world. “‘What if we could go back, like really fast. Like petal to the metal, in reverse.’”
